Loft

The concept is based on the creation of 28 unique apartments,

relating to the individual inhabitants.

Together the 28 apartments form a block with a certain elegance.

The apartments all have a loggia as outdoor space, these loggias

can be closed individually with either sliding doors, folding doors or

roll-screens. Each loggia gets its own facade which is unique within

the block. The different facades are al similar in their materialisation

that doesnt allow the block to get too fragmented, but still makes

it a whole. The maximum outline is kept on the site to create an

optimal view on the city and the Huaca Huallamarca from the

apartments and roof terrace.

All apartments are smaller then 100m2 and vary from 1 floor apartments

to two floor. Also in its plan each apartment is unique, to fit individual

preference. The circulation threw the block is, in contradiction to the rectangular form of the block, a curved routing. That has its core, formed by a stairway and elevator, inside an inner garden. The circulation elements can be seen as a tree, with the elevator and stair as its trunk and the hallways as its branches.
