Sunrise park

The design for Sunrise park is very much based on the existing situation of Sunrise Trailer Park.

Besides increasing the density of the area and improving the residential buildings, we also looked for the complains and wishes of the current inhabitants.

The design contains a community garden, that is without car access, that facilitates a child play area, a fish pond and a rose garden. The community garden is an enclosed area. This garden is separated from the private outdoor spaces of the habitats by a height difference of 2 feet.

The condominiums have a plinth of commercial program. All condominiums are orientated on the community garden, creating a strong connection to the other inhabitants of Sunrise Park to maintain the organisation and interaction of a community. All condominiums have a private outdoor space, in the shape of a balcony.
